FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) August 28, 2011 -- Sled Talk Radio returns to the Airwaves for a new Snowmobile Talk Radio Season

The Sled Talk Radio Show Returns for another exciting snowmobile season with a new name. Zen Talk has become Sled Talk. Last winter, the Sled Talk Audio podcast team produced 35 one hour episodes, covering topics such as snowmobiling racing, chats with real sledheads about trips they took up in Canada, snowmobile club members bragging about their trail grooming techniques, safety classes, snowmobile trade shows, and more. We talk to sled folk in Quebec, Ontario, Saskatchewan, BC, Alberta, NB, Ney York, PA, Michigan, you name it. Snowmobilers download our podcast into their phones and I-pods, then listen to them in the truck, en route for the trail head. Here is a list of some past recent episodes. (BTW YOU are invited to be on the show!)

Pat G, famous snowmobile realtor from Montreal joins us as well to tell us about the latest marketing thrust by Bombardier in Quebec Canada.Music by Roy Orbison and Frank Sinatra www.patgramuglia.com www.braaap.com www.snobarons.com www.weknowsnow.com www.sledfreak.com

Snowmobile Sell Off in Quebec PLUS Snow Blast in Michigan, Quebec, Ontario, New York

We got a Blast of winter everywhere this week that promises to extend the riding for a few extra weeks in many areas. so we called up our pals in NY, Michigan, and Quebec for the news. Then Franky, our old pal from Location Haute Matawinie tells us about his new blow out sale od used rental fleet Skidoos, hundreds of low mileage Bombardier product. He also talks about the season they had in N Quebec. A good show, and created in Pat G's Cave here in Montreal Quebec. The Zen man is in Montreal to watch over Moma Zen as she struggles through a bout of cancer.

PA Goes to Ontario, Quebec Trails Good to Go, and Indiana Rides the UP!

Doug Wolf and his crew head all the way to Northern Ontario for a last gasp ride on awesome trails, Pat G, snowmobile realator in Montreal says all trails thin but Good to Go, and the DUCK MAN from Indiana, spends the entire winter 40 miles west of Sault Ste Marie Michigan on the great trails in the amazing landscapes of The UP. The Zen man is heading to Montreal, over 2,000 miles, to visit Moma Zen, who needs your prayers for a serious healing to wipe out her cancer. Please say a prayer for her on my behalf. THANKS! All in all a good show! Cheers.

Tug Hill Trail Report from Sled Freak, Matt Bruce on Troop Talk & 9/11, and Ric Federau in Michigan

This week, my faithful co-host comes to us in the dental chair getting a Root Canal - Yeeeoch! Then we talk to Chris at SledFreak.Com in Brantingham NY, he tells us all about the trail conditions in Brantingham, Tug Hill, and Old Forge, plus talks about the party sceene. Get up there! Finally we have another visit from our friend Matt in Sarasota FLA, a former snowmobiler turned bikini watcher - Matt helps Zen understand the goings on in the Middle East, and how Egypt's revolution will affect our bank balance here in N America. Matt, ho is the host of the well know TROOP TALK radio program and THE CAPTAIN'S AMERICA SHOW, which is syndicated on hundreds of channels throughout America and world wide on the Internet, tells us about being burried in dust and debris under his fire engine, when the second tower collapsed in New York City on 9-11. An amazing story that left Zen speechless. God Bless America! Also Zen's fantasy girl NORAH JONES sings a moving song about her passion for her country.

Snowmobiling in Saskatchewan & Jim Pither from Missouri heads for The Soo

Feb 17 2010 -- Saskatchewan Snowmobiling; This week we feature three guests from Saskatchewan, to tell the listeners about what's happening on the grain fields of Canada. We give you trail and weather reports from the great white north, with guests Stan Lipinsky from Kelvington, Trevor from Saskatoon, and Corrina Kapeller from the North East near Hudson Bay. Zen gives the SledGrub.Com news summary, and then we get a call from snowmobileer Jim Pitcher, from Ofallen Missouri on his way up to the U.P. where he saw the I-500 snowmobile endurance oval race. A good show, even tho we couldn't find Ric Federau - he was MIA. http:www.zentalkradio.com

Snowmobilers Ice Fish in Michigan, Trail'in for Tatas in Warren Illinois, Quebec Snowmobile Trails Report, Captain's America Comments on Obama

Ric and Zen outdo themselves again - Whoa what a show! Ric reports live from the Ice fishing shack on Higgins lake where he's hauling in 10 inch Perch, Pat G from Montreal Quebec gives us a trail and weather report as well as the agenda for the Valcourt snowmobile race in February, then Ric and Zen talk about the I-500 Race at the end. www.zentalkradio.com

Snowmobiles, Rabbits, Ice Fishing, Doug Wolf, Dustin Griess, Grubs, Luke Hilton, and more

Snowmobiles, snowmobiling, and snowmobilers - - Key Word Anyone? Lots of sled news today. Ric and Zen discuss the sled news of the week, then we talk to Dustin Griess from Minnesota about the latest snow storm in Minneapolis and about his new web site SLEDGRUB.COM It's a new snowmobile news site and cel phone APP that brings you the latest snowmobile news. Sled Freak .Com is doing a shoot out this weekend in Queensbury NY. The Wolf family talks about the trails in PA, and about the Stealers Game in Pittsburg PA. FinLly we get a rabbit hunting report from Main with young Luke Hilton. The show is okay. Wanna win a prize? send me an email to zen@zentalkradio and I will send you something free from one of our sponsors.

Snowmobile Trail & Weather Report, Fund Raising, Quiet Users Wanna close Trails in MI, Falling through the Ice in MI

Ric and Zenwaiter discuss falling through the thin ice, and the latest challenge to the existence of snowmobile trails in Michigan. Ridiculous "Quiet User" who is a lawyer, wants to sut down miles of trails near his cottage, so that he can be a "Quiet User" of the environment. He's probably funded by George Sorros. Then we listen to Pat G, our Montreal Quebec trail reporter. Bad news I'm afrain for many regions of Quebec, this week. But remember, trail conditions change very quickly. Do not cancel your planned trips till you call your motel owner for current conditions. Finally, Regina bases James Hoffman talks about spearheading a fund raiser for a new Prostate Patient resource centre in the Pasqua Hospital in Regina. His snowmobile club in Grenfell Saskatchewan get ready for snowmobile fund raisers.

The town offers reasonably priced motels with kitchenets, and everything a family could need for a week long extravaganza, including snow boarding, ice skating, snowmobiling, race events, vigntage snowmobile events, plus great value on restaurants, kiosks, snowmobile dealerships and more. A great place to take your family for a week long winter holiday! Race week begins Monday January 31st. Snowmobiling in Washington State w Matt Mead

Matt Mead, editor of the "SnowFlyer" Snowmobile Magazine, the official voice of the WSSA, talks to Zen About his work as editor, and as the Co-Chairman of the International Snowmobile Media Council. Best of all, he discusses the sport of snowmobiling in the State of Washington

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) September 16, 2010 -- It is September the sixteenth, 2010, and it is snowing this morning in Southern Saskatchewan. The new falling snow is usually my cue to start writing, start talking on radio podcasts, and start ranting about what I see as the good, the bad, and the downright ugly in the snowmobile world, to my Internet audience.

One of my favorite snowmobile themes is, the importance of joining a club, and volounteering. The snowmobile infrastructure doesn't exist by magic, it takes hard work. We need strong young members to get working with the older guys. We have to pass the knowledge on.

Zenwaiter says Get off the Couch Join your local Snowmobile Club

Back in the early days, I had more traffic on my web sites, but even then, it was almost impossible to solicit a response from snowmobilers on the net. Was it fear? Was it disinterest? No. I think all along, the lack of enthusiastic response from blog readers and consumers of all my Internet content, has simply been a result of social conditioning, drilled into snowmobilers heads since their childhood. I'm talking about TV. We came home from school, sat on our butts, and watched TV. We were taught to be 'spectators'. Today, people just wanna sit and WATCH the pages they find on the Internet, and not surprisingly, are even too lazy to READ. We want Eye Candy.

In the same way, it's hard to get younger snowmobilers to join a club, and to support that club - support it with time, energy, AND money. Today's newcommer to the sport has no idea how much work goes into making snowmobiling possible.

The point is, we need to wake up, and stop being lazy TV consuming robots, put down the beer can, and start getting involved in our snowmobile industry. Drive the groomer for a few shifts, rebuild bridges in the summer, fire up the bbq and help to raise money.

Unless we get active in our clubs, and start joining the snowmobile lobby, our trails will soon vanish. It don't seem to matter that we have better, quieter, more efficient, non polluting snowmobiles, the environmentalists want to shut us down. They work hard at doing that. We also have to work just as hard to fight them. Big Brother wants to shut us down. He is gonna tax us to death, and regulate our sport right out of business. Ask the folks in Northern Wisconsin. The environment police handed out over two hundred tickets to sledders last winter, at a fun weekend gathering for everything from littering to having one beer. They want us OFF the land, period.

Wake up! Join, and Attend your local club meetings out there. Get involved. Read up on the issues. Don't trust the local news media, or the National News Media when it comes to our sport. Dig on the Internet for the truth and for answers - while we still have it. Learn the ropes from the Old Timers, before they disappear.

Watch my site and listen to my show for updates. www.zenwaiter.com www.zentalkradio.com

Zen Out.

Fall 2009 - What's Up ?
Winter is rolling in early this year and we are all very excited. I am doing my thing as usual - This will be my tenth winter at work promoting snowmobiling in Cnada and the USA. Now I am focusing all my efforts on my new radio talk show. Well, it is actually three years old, but I am doing one or two shows a week now, so it is improving. Please come give us a listen...

May 26 2009 Snowmobile Season UpdateWinter is finally over, and even here in Saskatchewan, the snow drifts piled up in the ditches is gone. The moisture level for the farmers has shown an improvement, and spring rains have been good. The farmers are well into seeding their crops for this summer, and it looks like it could be a very good year.

Snowmobiling also enjoyed a good season for the winter of 2008 - 2009, the abundant snows came early and stayed late. Other factors however, such as the American and world wide economic meltdown, took their toll. The sale of used snowmobiles soared, but many new models sat in the show room. I look forward to getting my hands on some industry stats for this past season. Overall it was a good year, and thousands of families enjoyed snowmobiling closer to home, as their holiday budgets were slashed by loss of employment. In Michigan, I spoke to many snowmobilers at the Novi Show in the fall, and they told me that job losses were significant. Never-the-less, the turned up in droves to support their snowmobile Novi sports Show.

And now we all have to survive this financial tempest, with Obama at the helm. I would have perfered McCain and his snowmobiler side kick Sarah with her husband Todd - but it was not to be. Let's pray for Obama, he's gonna need a miracle to straighten out the mess that Wall Street started.

Have a safe summer on your two wheeled toys!

October 18th 2007

Winter is just around the corner. Everyone is starting to plan a snowmobile holiday getaway, but how? Where will the snow be found this winter, and will we have enough before Christmas to make it a viable family trip?

These are the qns we all ask every year at this time. It's tough enough to figure all the logistics about how and when, and with whom. Then someone dies, or gets sick, or has another family emergency to deal with, so the trip gets pulled. Not easy.

To minimize your frustration and maximize your snowmobile holiday potential this winter, stay close to Zenwaiter.com. We are working feverishly to get all our snowmobile pages up and running, and to make the sites more helpful than ever.

This winter I will focus on the Mini Snowmobile Podcasts, which will be five minute bulletins in an MP3 file, easy and fast to download. They will be full of quick facts and info for the weekend.

That's the plan anyways, but we have already had some set backs, beyond the fact that I am not a radio voice anyone would really enjoy. We had one of our lap tops go Ka-Fluey last week. There is 1,000 at least (and that for a demo model) but there is no cash at the moment, so I will have to risk using the one only. Old Faithful!

Thanks for reading - keep in touch. If you wanna be ON our snowmobile podcast audio, pls send me an e-mail. zen@zenwaiter.com
