Zen Goes to NY to deliver Sleds!

Here is the trophy wall in Gere's office. Between him, his son, and his wife, they have racked up dozens of awards and prizes from the snowmobile world. They have devoted themselves to this sport like few families have. Way to go Gere!

Zen gets busted by Greece NY's finest.. but no charges are pending. Lucky
for me, I told them I was the Elvis of Quebec sledding, and they all love to
ride too, so they let me go.

 

 

Platinum Auto sales. This is where I picked up 'my' new 2005 HUMMER!

 

Dan Ricotta in his Spencerport office is always happy to see driver Dan from

Here we go again. I wait an hour while Dan starts the go round. Even
though he's gone through a thousand times.

 

Dan waits in the rain for the Canadian Custom Gods to get their shit together.

 

The rain really came down. He is on the phone with the Boss.

 

Rain comes down big time. We wait.

 

Back and forth from one office to the other, it's the customs shuffle. Three
hours later we finally get out.

 

Then to make matters worse, the massive two day melt in St-Emilie, turns
the 131 into a stream, and there are cops in the ditch everywhere. Even the
Labatt Blue Truck in on it's side. We should have cracked her open.

 

The tow trucks work in the deluge.

 

'My' brand new 05 Hummer! Well, it was sweet while it lasted! I had to
give it back to Michel the Polaris dealer. I just drove it up from Spencerport.

 

That's it! Another Zen Adventure ends. And no... the Hummer doesn't belong to me. I always thought these were just a huge GM piece of garbage. After nine hours of driving, I can tell you that this American built beauty, is not just another pretty face. I want one ... I want one bad!
